School Trips & Workshops

We feel school trips provide an invaluable learning experience for our children. Gayhurst's teachers plan carefully and look for opportunities to support and extend learning through educational visits.

Living in London we are very lucky to have a wealth of museums  on our doorstep and we try to visit as many places as possible throughout the academic year. Recent trips to museums have included the Science Museum, Natural History Museum, British Museum and the Museum of Childhood.

Trips also happen to places further afield such as Year 5's recent trips to Hobbs Hill farm in Kent, where children spent the day learning about the life of hop pickers in the 1940.

Below is a PDF document with an overview of the planned trips and workshops in place for the current year.
