As part of Local Democracy week, at the end of October our local councillor, Patrick Vernon, came in to talk to Year 5 and 6 about his role as a councillor. The children found out about local budgets and asked questions about how the money is spent to improve our local area. There was also the opportunity to share ideas about the changes that our children would like to see.
